JIMMY LEE JORDAN
Outlaw Country • Red Dirt • Southern Rock • Rockin' Honky-Tonk
Jimmy Lee Jordan is an Oklahoma-based country artist, singer, songwriter and seasoned entertainer whose music lives at the crossroads of Outlaw Country, Red Dirt, Southern Rock and straight-ahead honky-tonk.
A North Carolina native who ultimately planted his roots in Oklahoma, Jimmy's road to the stage has been anything but ordinary. A retired U.S. Air Force veteran with more than two decades of military service, he spent years performing both stateside and overseas, developing the commanding stage presence and natural connection with an audience that remain trademarks of his shows today.
Over the course of his career, Jimmy and the musicians performing alongside him have opened for or shared stages with nationally and regionally recognized artists including Casey Donahew, Chad Cooke Band, Trick Pony, Blues Traveler, Ricochet, Bo Phillips Band, Chad Sullins and others. Jimmy's career has also taken him internationally, performing for American troops and audiences throughout Europe and beyond.
But Jimmy Lee Jordan isn't interested in simply standing onstage and playing songs.
He believes the audience should be part of the show.
That philosophy is at the heart of every Jimmy Lee Jordan performance. Whether he's standing alone with an acoustic guitar or fronting the full Jimmy Lee Jordan Band (JLJB), the goal remains the same: connect with the crowd, make them part of the experience, and send them home remembering the night.
Jimmy's live performances combine powerhouse vocals, personality, storytelling and unmistakable country grit with a catalog that can move effortlessly from classic country and dancehall favorites to modern country, Red Dirt, Southern Rock and his own original music.
The Jimmy Lee Jordan Band serves as the full-scale live expression of the Jimmy Lee Jordan sound. Built around Jimmy as frontman, the JLJB brings together experienced professional musicians selected to fit the performance, allowing the show to scale from intimate acoustic appearances and trio performances to a hard-driving full band capable of commanding casino stages, rodeos, fairs, festivals, corporate events and large outdoor venues.
Performing more than 125 shows annually, Jimmy Lee Jordan has developed a reputation for high-energy performances, packed dance floors, crowd interaction and the professionalism required to turn first-time venues into repeat bookings.
Now entering the next chapter of his career, Jimmy is placing an increased emphasis on original music—songs built from real life, hard lessons, heartbreak, humor and the kind of stories country music was made to tell.
It's country music without the polish rubbed too smooth.
A little outlaw.
A little Red Dirt.
A little Southern Rock.
And a whole lot of grit.
